Happy long weekend friends! Long weekends are the perfect time to spend time with family, and in that spirit I wanted to share Ziana's daddy-daughter session at Kariya Park in Mississauga, which mom Preeya arranged as a father's day gift. Can't get enough of her smile!

Who say's you can have a couple's photo shoot during an engagement session or at your wedding? Galina & Rick are a perfect example of how you can capture the love you share at any time in your relationship! They have been married over 1 year, and I am so happy they decided to let me capture these beautiful images for them!
I am happy to share my first new born session on the blog. This is of course not my first new born session, but I have changed my style and site so I only post my most recent work with my updated style. I had the pleasure of shooting Barbara's maternity session also, and was so happy to meet baby Sophia during the new born session. I am grateful to this family for having me capture such important milestones in their life!
This was a fun and playful engagement session with Nicole & Josh at High Park this past summer. We had to squeeze in the session just before Nicol's knee surgery, which thankfully went well and she is recovering well. I am excited to shoot their wedding in 2017!
From the first moment I met Heather & Matt I felt like we were the perfect match! I always tell my clients that the number one factor in your decision to choose a photographer is how you connect with them. You are going to spend one of the most important days of your life with an almost complete stranger, its important that you will get along. Engagement sessions are a great opportunity to find out. I get to learn about my client's preferences and they learn about my working style. It's important to me that my clients are comfortable with me. That's when couple's can be themselves and forget that I'm there and just enjoy each others company. I felt Heather and Matt really have fun during their engagement session which is a good sign they will have a good time on their wedding. I don't want photos to feel like a hassle or something you worry about on your wedding day. So if you can be yourself with each other, with me there documenting that connection then we're a match!
LOVE, that's all I can think about when I think about these two. It's couple's like Irina & Dustin that makes me feel so lucky to do what I do. I get to capture two people so completely and deeply in love. It's sessions like these where I barely have to say a word and they take over just being themselves, enjoying each others company, and letting me capture the love they share. I feel so honored to have been given the opportunity to capture their wedding this July and can't wait to capture their happily ever after.
It was instant chemistry when I first had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth & Nat at our coffee shop randevu. They were warm and friendly, and I could tell It would be easy for me to capture the love they felt for each other. On their wedding day it was sunshine, a serene country location and a beautiful bride that all comes together to make a photographers dream come true. Now with a bundle of joy on the way, I wish these two a lifetime of happiness!
I've long had the pleasure of photographing one of my oldest and dearest clients, the Keslassy family. The husband and wife team, along with their two charming sons, are just about the most bright-eyed, joyful family you could hope to meet. For this Toronto family photo shoot, we went to High Park for a soothing summer setting among the park's many scenic spots.
I'll say this right now – the Keslassy children are one of the most photogenic youngsters I've ever had the opportunity to work with. They've inherited their father's eyes and their mother’s smile, these two are near inseparable. Laying on the grass in the middle of the park, they giggle as I encourage them to hug for the next shot. Their laughter is infectious, and soon I am distracted by the beaming smile and adorable bow-tie of the youngest. His elder brother watches him closely as he toddles through the park, amazed at every sight and sound.
Mr. and Mrs. Keslassy had to do quite a bit of rounding up during the shoot. I have to thank them for their patience and dedication to helping me coax the children into poses and getting them to smile for the camera. I didn't mind taking a little extra time, though. I love working with children, and I got some fantastic shots with these two. My favorite family photo by far is when Mr. and Mrs. Keslassy held the children in the air, swinging them up and down as fits of laughter erupted and high-pitched squeals of joy echoed through the park. There's a lot of joy in this family; it's what makes them so endearing.
After the High Park photo shoot, I thanked the Keslassy family once again for their time, as well as their company. With a growing family, I'm sure I'll be seeing them again for more family photos as time goes on. Being with them and photographing tender family moments is one of the reasons I love being a Toronto lifestyle photographer. There's a professional emotional investment with every client, but the Keslassy family makes it effortless. I wish them all the best as they raise their family and grow the love between them.
