Mercan & Ali's Kurdish Wedding- Chateau Le Jardin, Woodbridge

Hello Friends,

With the wedding season in full swing, I have found a small window of time to share this wedding which is close to my heart. Mercan & Ali started looking for a photographer when there was an issue with the original photographer they had booked for their event. But like they say, sometimes things happen for a reason and they found their way to me and I am so happy they did. This wedding holds the record for the longest coverage we have provided to a couple with 16 hours in total. It was important to Mercan that we captured every moment of her special day and I think we have succeeded. So many amazing moments with these two who trooped it through a very cold April day so we can get all the photos I had hoped to capture for them. Well worth it! This is also the largest wedding we have shot with over 800 guests. Their wedding was at the beautiful Chateau Le Jardin in Woodbridge. We took their couple's photos at Richmond Green Park in Richmond Hill. Every moment for me is special and I am so honored to have been given the opportunity to capture their incredible event. Thanks also to Andrew Grant who was the second shooter for the wedding.

Eneda & Mark's - Liberty Grand, Toronto Wedding

Hello Friends,

Here is a rewind back to the last summer, where I had a chance to photograph Eneda & Mark's wedding at Liberty Grand in Toronto. We started the day out at Old Mill Inn in Etobicoke. It was a day filled with lots of emotional moments filled with tears an laughter, and lots of Albanian dancing.

I am happy to be given the opportunity to capture this couple's special day and I wish them all the best in their future.

Love,

Canan

Safak & Cihan's Pre-Wedding Portrait Session- Guildwood Park, Scarborough

Hello Friends,

Blogging is underway in full force! I have been dying to share this pre-wedding portrait session of Safak and Cihan with you!

I had shot a similar session for one of Safak's friends (Gamze & Erhan) and we had been chatting and planning this event for months. Finally on an amazing November day I had one of my most amazing sessions at Guildwood park in Scarborough. One of the biggest advantages of shooting on a day other than your wedding day is it allows you to have a stress-free session without worrying about your itinerary and as a result it provides you with more options of locations because you are not limited to locations near your venue. All of our full day packages can have the option of having 2 hour of your time allotted to a separate day of your choice solely for your portraits.

I am so happy with how these photos turned out, there are so many favorites! I hope you enjoy them as well.

Esther & Danny - Madsen's Greenhouse Chapel Wedding, Newmarket

Hello Friends,

Esther & Danny is one of the sweetest, kindest couple's I know. They had a September wedding at Madsen's Grennhouse Chapel in Newmarket in an intimate ceremony and reception. The most unique details for such a one of a kind bride. Esther made customized gifts for all her bride's maids, and beaded the sparking touches to her dress along with her sister. I loved every minute of capturing this day, thank you to them both for having me capture their special day.

Enjoy!

Deborah & Andrew - Deer Path, Meaford

Hello Friends,

Here is the beautiful Deborah and the charismatic Andrew. Right away I could tell they were laid back, genuine people who wanted their wedding day to be about celebrating their love among their family and friends.

Wish them all the best!

Ariana & Alex's Wedding- Royal Botanical Gardens, Burlington

Hello Friends,

It was an incredible 3 months in Toronto this summer! I had the honor of being able to capture the weddings of 15 amazing couples! The first of which was this amazing couple, Ariana & Alex. The beautiful bride and her bridesmaids got all dolled up at Salon Disalvo in Hamilton. After which the ceremony, portrait session and reception were at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

One of the most special parts of this wedding was the 1000 origami cranes Alex made for Ariana as a surprise, which was also used as their backdrop decor. It is Japanese legend that anyone who makes a 1000 cranes will have their wish come true. Alex had his wish come true by marring the girl of his dreams. I wish these two a lifetime of wishes coming true!

I can't wait to share more weddings from this summer!

Love,
Canan
