Happy long weekend friends! Long weekends are the perfect time to spend time with family, and in that spirit I wanted to share Ziana's daddy-daughter session at Kariya Park in Mississauga, which mom Preeya arranged as a father's day gift. Can't get enough of her smile!
It's an honor for me to be given the opportunity to capture the most special moments in my client's lives. Maternity sessions capture the glow of a mother to be and the excitement a couple feels anticipating the arrival of their bundle of joy. The joy was most definetly felt in Sri Rupa's maternity session at Kariya Park in Mississauga.
In this extremely beautiful but warm summer weather, I though It would be nice to share the Fall engagement session of Kaitlyn & Will. It was a wonderful day at High Park in Toronto for these two love birds! Their wedding date is quickly approaching and I am looking to capture their festivities on June 24th at Ascott Parc.
I am happy to share Maria & Peter's engagement session with their adorable dog Chaska at High park in Toronto. High park was a popular location choice for many couples in 2016, however no 2 session is ever alike because each couple adds their own flare to their session.
I am excited and looking forward to their wedding in June!

Who say's you can have a couple's photo shoot during an engagement session or at your wedding? Galina & Rick are a perfect example of how you can capture the love you share at any time in your relationship! They have been married over 1 year, and I am so happy they decided to let me capture these beautiful images for them!
Here is a rewind back to the last summer, where I had a chance to photograph Eneda & Mark's wedding at Liberty Grand in Toronto. We started the day out at Old Mill Inn in Etobicoke. It was a day filled with lots of emotional moments filled with tears an laughter, and lots of Albanian dancing.
I am happy to be given the opportunity to capture this couple's special day and I wish them all the best in their future.
I am happy to share Laure & Steve's engagement session which took place this past October on a beautiful day just before sunset. Like most couple's they were a bit nervous to be in front of the camera at first, but that is totally normal. I realize couple's don't take photos on a regular basis, and its awkward to be so intimate in front of an almost stranger. I like to think that after the engagement session I loose my stranger status and we all get to know each other a lot more which leads to a much better experience on the wedding day. On that note, I'm looking forward to capturing more amazing photos at their wedding in July!
Blogging is underway in full force! I have been dying to share this pre-wedding portrait session of Safak and Cihan with you!
I had shot a similar session for one of Safak's friends (Gamze & Erhan) and we had been chatting and planning this event for months. Finally on an amazing November day I had one of my most amazing sessions at Guildwood park in Scarborough. One of the biggest advantages of shooting on a day other than your wedding day is it allows you to have a stress-free session without worrying about your itinerary and as a result it provides you with more options of locations because you are not limited to locations near your venue. All of our full day packages can have the option of having 2 hour of your time allotted to a separate day of your choice solely for your portraits.
I am so happy with how these photos turned out, there are so many favorites! I hope you enjoy them as well.
I am happy to share my first new born session on the blog. This is of course not my first new born session, but I have changed my style and site so I only post my most recent work with my updated style. I had the pleasure of shooting Barbara's maternity session also, and was so happy to meet baby Sophia during the new born session. I am grateful to this family for having me capture such important milestones in their life!
Esther & Danny is one of the sweetest, kindest couple's I know. They had a September wedding at Madsen's Grennhouse Chapel in Newmarket in an intimate ceremony and reception. The most unique details for such a one of a kind bride. Esther made customized gifts for all her bride's maids, and beaded the sparking touches to her dress along with her sister. I loved every minute of capturing this day, thank you to them both for having me capture their special day.
Happy New Year! 2016 was sure filled with surprises, but If we look in the right places, the places that really matter, there is still plenty of love to see and waiting to be found. No matter what was happening in my life, I have the honor of being a part of so many happy and love filled moments. I am truly blessed to have a job that lets me capture intimacy, laughter, and pure joy. It brightens my spirits no matter what challenges I face in my personal life and gives me purpose. It also reminds me to always look at the glass half full even if there is a few drops. On that note, I wish everyone a healthy, happy, and love filled 2017!
To kick this year off, I wanted to share one of my favorite weddings of 2016! The beautiful Ariel and her prince charming Brad's wedding at Kortright Center for Conservation. An elegant and romantic wedding among family and friends and such a beautiful day. Mazel Tov to the wonderful couple!

This was a fun and playful engagement session with Nicole & Josh at High Park this past summer. We had to squeeze in the session just before Nicol's knee surgery, which thankfully went well and she is recovering well. I am excited to shoot their wedding in 2017!
It has been awhile since I last blogged. Summers are filled with shooting weddings and engagement sessions, but most of the time is spent editing the thousands of photos from those sessions. As the summer is nearing to an end I find some time to post this session of my beautiful and long time friend Siam and her beau Haroon. Shot only a few days after coming back to Toronto at one of my favorite locations: Guildwoord Park in Scarborough. It was an honor for me to capture these portraits of them before their traditional Nikah ceremony. Can't wait to start sharing more great session from this past summer soon!
One of my favorite maternity sessions! It was such a pleasure shooting Nadia and Kevin at this exciting time in their lives. Although some poses could cause a challenge at this stage in the pregnancy, Nadia was a trooper and we got some amazing shots!
For couple's interested in booking a Maternity session, here are some FAQ's:
Q: When is it best to have the session?
A: It is best to have the session at 7 months, so that the belly is round enough for photos but also not large enough to cause discomfort in different poses.
Q: How soon should I schedule my session?
A: It’s never too early to schedule your maternity session. Sometimes we can accommodate last minute requests, but we recommend a 4-6 week notice. If you would like a weekend appointment it is important to book early as Saturdays and Sundays are book quickly.
Q: Can my spouse or my child be in the pictures?
A: Of course! Having the whole family involved is encouraged.
Q: What should I bring/how do I prepare for the session?
A: These are only meant to be a helpful guide, feel free to do as many or as little as you would like:
*Try not to wear tight underwear and clothing on the day of the session to prevent marks on your skin.
*Get a manicure a few days in advance.
*A nude tube top/bra is very useful and handy to have.
* Anything else you think is sentimental or has a special meaning to you and as a family i.e matching sports uniforms.
Q: Will you guide me and help me pose?
A: Absolutely! I know you don't do this everyday. I want this to be as comfortable and pleasant an experience as possible. I will help you every step of the way.
Q: What type of editing is included?
A: All of the images from the session have basic editing which includes: white balance, color correction, cropping, and overall stylizing. The 10 images of your choice will include skin retouching, body enhancements, and any other requests you may have.
Heather and Matt are one of the sweetest couple's I have had the pleasure to meeting. I was so honored to be given the opportunity to capture their wedding day which was this past September in the beautiful Muskoka. The Trillium Resort and Spa is a beautiful setting for a wedding and it was wonderful to capture their wedding along with their friends and family. Wishing them both all the best!
This is part two in Sara and Nima's wedding adventure! In my previous post I shared their engagement session at The Distillery District. This is their pre-wedding session. Some of it was taken in an open field in North York. The rest was taken at the Scarborough Bluffs, which is one of my favorite locations. We also shot a highlight video during the session to share with their family and friend on their actual wedding day. The final part of their story will be next: The wedding day in Tehran. Be sure to check out their highlight video below!
It has been such an amazing journey with these two. It started in a coffee shop where I met Sara and Nima for the first time. They were going to have their wedding in Tehran but were residing in Toronto. We planned a concept video in photo shoot in Toronto so it would be ready in time to air at their wedding in Tehran, as well as an engagement session which I happy to share today. It was a warm rainy day at the Distillery District, but after a few minutes of drizzles it all cleared to lead way to a great photo session.
Can't wait to share the rest!
